What should Canam bring in next?

Canam should make a M6 scout clone.... man that would be sweet.

AGREED!!!! with no trigger guard.

What countries have we not exhausted yet as possibilities?

Turkey?

Mehmetçik-1 is a Turkish clone of the HK416

JNG 90 is a 7.62×51mm is a (possibly original) DMR rifle.

Both made by MKEK.

What about the MD-97LC?

While the trigger assembly and buttstock are essentially FAL, it uses a rotating bolt rather than the FAL's tilting block, so it could potentially avoid the "variant" treatment.

canam should bring in copies of th old cooey'Ace or canuck with 16 inch barrels. they sold here in Canada in the past, should still sell if the price is low.

Canam should make an original M6 scout clone in bead blasted stainless....with no trigger guard and original USAF length 14" barrels.
Also having the option between .410/.22 and 20ga/.357mag would be the ultimate compliment/upgrade to the original design.
Just a thought.

This is the most appealing idea to me so far. I have always like Sprinfied's M6 Scout but have only ever seen one once. I imagine if I ever found one for sale in Canada it would be quite pricey. I Norinco production would be a good solution to this problem.

I would grab a .22/410 in a heartbeat. A .22 mag would have the same or more appeal to me.

I will try not to get my hope up on this one, but I can not help but feel a twinge of excitement about the idea.

Its the same excitement I feel over the hopefully soon arrival of a pair of Norkarevs!!!

Canada Ammo has me feeling like a kid a Christmas here!

I think a Dominion Arms version of the M6 would sell like hotackes! This is really a great idea guys! .22LR/.410 is the classic, but I'd be much happier if the .410 was replaced with a 20 ga. But maybe that's just me. And I really like the idea of bead blasted stainless. How are the Chinese arms manufacturers at working with stainless?

I was just thinking about this some more. The idea is very good and it should not be too hard to make this gun. I was thinking that the ideal one for me would be a bead blasted stainless steel model, and painted, gunkoted, etc. That way it will have the corrosion ressistance it would need and the non glare finish I prefer.

I am not too picky about the colour. Black, green, brown, all of the above, whatever. It would also be nice if it came with some sort of cover or sleeve.

I have never hunted with a .410, but I watched a friend try to once. Couldnt hit a gopher from 20 yds.... lol. I would not be opposed to something that can put a little more lead in the air, like a 20 Ga. It really sucks to go hungry.

What about a .22wmr/20Ga vs .22 lr/.410???

For me it would depend on if the 20 Ga shells can fit in the storage compartment. I think its a big asset that you can just grab and go. The springfield .22/.410 model holds 15 x 22s and 4x .410s.

If it will, I believe that the .22wmr/20ga would be a much more effective survival gun.

Its late. I am sure I will dream about this now.

Talk to y'all soon.
