What should I get? one kimber or couple of norinco's?

If it's your first, buy the Kimber. If the first pistol you shoot regularly turns out to be an inaccurate piece of ####, all you'll get is discouraged.Cheap is fine, but quality is better. Good luck.

My Kimber is a GREAT gun. Extremely accurate. I personally would prefer one high quality piece over two lower quality pieces.

if you're going to buy one then get something good. you do get what you pay for. I'm planning on having a few 1911s one day so my norc will be a project gun.

Maybe start with the "police" model and a Kimber .22lr conversion...spend the rest on ammo.

IMO go with the Kimber, if you get a chance to shoot one you'll be hooked. I was at the range today shoping for a new pistol and wasn't even considering 1911's... now I'm saving the extra 1000 bucks

hi i have a kimber tle/rl and a sti spartan ,the spartan is not as nice as my beloved kimber but its a hell of a shooter,and i just got my norinko police model yesterday and ill tell u what the new norks are nice but if u get kimber you wont even want to look at a nork ever again.

.. A couple of Colts and the rest were all STI. I have to say that the STI's are all REEEEEEALLY NICE with smooth slides and trigger pulls to die for.

I have a Kimber Gold Match. It is by far the best handgun i own. More accurate than I can shoot it, and that is right out of the box. They do cost more, but are worth every penny.
