If I could do it over again, I'd buy a CZ Shadow from the start. But if your looking for a small single stack, maybe a Boberg? Or a Sig P239 Tactical. It'd be over $1,000 though unless you could find it used. But in that criteria its slim pickings unless your okay with a 1911 platform.

There is a new pistol in 9mm, single stack, not a pocket pistol. Called a 1911. I think it will catch on.
The HK SFP9 has a pretty slim grip when you put on the smallest back straps and side panels.
I generally dislike double stack pistols for being too obese and to me the 1911 is what God whispered down into the ear of his final prophet (melodrama, but it makes the point)
However in 9mm - CZ75/85, and Browning High Power are 2 that I like. I prefer the CZ (Shadow) of them all. It's the European 1911![]()
