what to do with bird carcass

I take the breast and the two wings here and we only take like 5 a day so no big deal. Most times when I have hunted out west the outfitter had this v blade contraption that did it in minutes since out there hundreds could be taken by a group
I will see if I can find one. It was called a wild wing slinger and this is the end result

Ya OK.Clearly never hunted out west and left a field with a 1/2 ton truck box full and 100's
Would love to watch you pluck them or pay to have them done. NOT
Cheers

Breasts and legs are all I take, unless we want some whole birds for roasting. Legs are very easy to turn into delicious pepperettes and sausage at home or quite cheap to have a butcher do it. There's a considerable amount of meat on the legs, especially when you have dozens of birds.

Too cheap, laziness, or ignorance are what come to mind when I see people tossing so much edible meat. It's even excellent protein for the dogs, yet so many just toss it away. It's akin to shooting a deer and tossing everything but the prime cuts.

Good for you . I will be nice and not tell you what comes to mind when I read this
We are not talking deer here we are talking goose legs and I would love to know what butcher would bone them out let alone cheaply for what is on them . You must get tons of sausage NOT
Then again if you only get a few birds a year maybe I can understand. It is a different world hunting out west and the numbers they deal with. I remember my first trip and running out of shells the first morning and I had 125 rounds. That would do me weeks or more down east
Wait now maybe you get into those big northern birds :) since I see it is Ontario you live
See ya

I usually end up with several truck loads for bait. Collect from the field at the end of the hunt or pick up at the outfitter.

Wouldn't that be viewed as wastage of game? Just saying... I personally feel here in Manitoba Game wardens are mandated by provincial tourism to turn the blind eye on such overshooting behavior. Everyone wants to kill limits...or "piles" as the Americans say,...just some don't want the bother of even touching the spoils once all the bragging pics are taken and posted.

I pluck all my birds and we roast 'em. East all the meat and my wife makes soup with the skeleton..

Even if I fillet the meat off the breast and we grill them, my wife lightly sears the rest and makes soup.
