Hi all, I bought a new Bushnell 20x40x60 x60 Spotting Scope, and it came with a really dismal excuse for a tripod. What is everyone using foe bench shooting, that won't break the bank ?
Thanks

X2 on manfrotto tripods, but they are mostly expensive, you'll probablly pay close to $200 for a base model by the time you buy the head to go with it. Unless they've come out with some cheaper ones since I bought mine.manfrootto .... best bipod going and you can hang the spotting scope right in front of you like this

pretty well all their models do this, if you have a camera store in your area they will most likely sell manfrotto tripods.Details on this setup please... I scanned the website and was unable to locate one similar.

On many ranges in Canada where you are shooting in pairs and threes, this monfrotto set up is not going to make you any friends.
I would suggest "shooting" designs with a smaller footprint if going to use a spotting scope while shooting prone in F class.
