Hey guys,

Just wondering what the best grease is for this job, I know a dry assembly is not the best way to go.

I figure if i'm going through the trouble of getting a wrench etc for this job i should do it properly and use the right stuff. some one i talked to mentioned bearing grease with "Moly" in the ingredients/name...thought I'd double check.

Cheers

I don't put any kind of lube or grease on the threads of receiver extensions and as far as I know, Colt Canada doesn't put anything on theirs either (from what we can see when we work on them). ;)

You dont put anything on them, just make sure you stake the buffer nut "thats how we do it in the Army"
