What type (brand) of Grease Do You Use On Buffer Tube Threads?

Hey guys,

Just wondering what the best grease is for this job, I know a dry assembly is not the best way to go.

I figure if i'm going through the trouble of getting a wrench etc for this job i should do it properly and use the right stuff. some one i talked to mentioned bearing grease with "Moly" in the ingredients/name...thought I'd double check.

Blue loctite if anything.

Do you really want your nicely lubed threads vibrating out of the receiver?

I don't put any kind of lube or grease on the threads of receiver extensions and as far as I know, Colt Canada doesn't put anything on theirs either (from what we can see when we work on them).

You dont put anything on them, just make sure you stake the buffer nut "thats how we do it in the Army"

You only have to grease the barrel nut, nothing else.
