In my opinion the larger track is from a coyote. Compared to the shoe track, unless it is a number 12, the animal track is not a bit too big for a coyote. Also, it has the typical coyote shape, longer, especially the two centre toes. Most dogs are rounder.
I can't see claw marks from the small prints, which I still think were made by a domestic cat. Anyway, in fresh, soft snow, a cat could leave faint toe nail marks.
As a point of interest, cougars always leave their toe nails showing in their front foot tracks. That is the quick way to distinguish lynx from cougar tracks. The front foot of a lynx is nearly as large as the front foot of a cougar, but a lynx just makes a furry looking print in the snow, while the claw marks of a cougar are very plain.
