I remember seeing the PTRD and I had a bunch of money saved up at the time and I thought since you could not get ammo for it it was pretty much useless so I passed. Man was I stupid.

I had tht catalogue too, but the first milsurp I bought was a Mosin Nagant from SIR in the 1970s for $19.99. The only ammo available I could find was Norma and a box cost $29.00

fwiw I have one of those Centurion sporters in 300 WM by the way. A buddy gave it to me. Has put black bears, deer, elk and moose in the freezer.
