What was your BEST deer shot with?

It isnt huge but it's my best one so far.

Shot with a Sako 85 in 7mm-08 at about 225 yards with a 140gr. Accubond.

Lee Enfield No4 MK1 in .303 British of course, iron sights.

And now I'll do my best to wield it as well as he did.

Best deer was my 1st back in 1977, 1st season, best buck to date. 5x6 whitetail with an Ithaca LSA-55 in .243. Still my favorite rifle.

What makes it the BEST one: hunting with family, teamwork spotting it, shot it with a Norc M305, it was easy to retrieve, no real meat damage and very, very tasty!!!

Best deer was my first when I was 13. Watched it stop on the other side of the dam for the old beagle to catch up. it made it about 10 feet off my side of the dam when the old 870 wingmaster modified barrel with cheap $6 dollar winchester slugs stopped it.

That looks exactly like a feild that i have hunted in. No deer for me that time though.

My best deer was my first 10 yards with a borrowed winchester 94 in 30-30

Good old 6.5X55 with an old Bushnell Sportchief scope on it. Shooting old Norma 156gr loads too, lol!

Best WT, Mulie, and black bear all taken with my Tikka T3 .270 WIN. Using winchester superX 130 G.

My best mulie was taken with a Ruger M77 Mk II Stainless in 280 Rem, with a factory 140 gr Fail Safe load.

Best whitetail (only because it was my first) was taken with a M77 Mk II stainless in 243 win.

Best Black bear (just so you guys can see the pattern develop) was taken with a M77 Mk II stainless in 338 Win Mag
