What was your BEST deer shot with?

Inspired by the thread about first deer, I was wondering about this. Not really wondering about the score of your trophy [no bragging], just the cartridge you used.

My biggest and best mulie was shot with a .270 win in a Winchester Featherweight pushfeed rifle when I was 16.
My biggest Whitetail was shot just this past season with a 6.5-06 out of a Tikka T3 Hunter. Shot him right in his bed [he thought he was sooo sneaky!]

This last season I got my best WT by far. I used a .280 Ruger Hawkeye SS and 130gr GS Custom.

Well I only killed one deer so far and it was a massive buck! - 12ga Winchester slug x2 (one to the body missed vital, second to the back of the head)

My biggest/best deer was an 8 point buck that I took at 70 yds with my $199.00 CVA 209 Eclipse .50 muzzleloader. Every time I think about buying a newer/better/more expensive muzzleloader I fill my tag with it again and figure why bother.

My first buck, 11 point white tail with my first big game rifle. Rem 7600 30-06 shooting winchester 180gr silvertips.
