Lol. Must have been something with some pretty long range, I've never seen a deer in Windsor.

Model 94 3030WIN. Along with most of Canada, it seems

I think the shell was Winchester Silvertip, 170gr.

I do remember my hands shaking so much I wasnt sure I was going to be able to put the hammer down safely so I cycled every shell out of the gun instead of trying.

It was a nice 9 point buck (4×5) and will stay in my memory forever.

My dad and grandfather were only mimutes away and I dont think Id ever seen them prouder.

Remington 870 wingmaster (old model) smoothbore fixed modified, rem sluggers bead sight apprx 30 yards. First day I ever deer hunted too! 3-point buck. A guy in our hunt group does all our mounts for us and his neighbors dog stole the rack and buried it! Was found after snow melted :)
 
7mm-08, first rifle i ever bought. Shot a WT doe at 40 yds with a fixed 6x ha ha, could only see fur pretty much. It split the heart in half and i couldn't believe the amount of blood that poured out of both sides as she bolted! Crazy
 
Nov 3 2015 port Elgin Ontario. Button buck that got me hooked
Rifle: savage 111 in 243win with 100gr Winchester whitetail.
Was so happy got a European mount done cause even tho it was a button it was my first. Got the mount home after about a month. Put it on the computer room desk to go the garage to grab a screw to hang it on the wall came back in to find my dog chewing on it. Now I have my first deer hanging on my wall with the face half gone. Wanted to kill my dog that day lol
Hopefully this year I'll get my second. I will be hunting with a marlin 1894 44mag
