a model 94 30-30 rifle built in 1896 i was 14 and i think the gun was as long as i was tall it was my great grandfathers now mine. i still use it yearly.

My first deer was shot at 30 yards with Peter's 00 buckshot from my 12 gauge Ithaca side by side down in the states. My first deer with a rifle was with a Ruger M77 in 6mm Remington at 75 yards.

my first deer was taken with my 22-250 at 185yds with 70gr speer bullet at 3300fps he ran for about 15 to 20 yds and dropped and perfect heart and lung shot
