My first handgun was a .38 S&W J frame (Dad's). But my first handguns that I purchased (at the same time) was a Ruger MkI and a Llama Super Comanche .44 Mag. Hey Dirty Harry was a bad influence on me when I was a kid.

My first was a Ruger III 22 lr.. that was shortly after i got my RPAL 2 years ago. Sold it after i got a S&W Model 41 which had a superior trigger. Now i shoot a pair of Tanfoglio Limited Customs in .40 S&W.. hoot hoot..

A magnaported S&W model 28 Highway Patrolman in 357 mag bought it used...

Sold it because a kid that I took hunting a couple times took his dad's loaded 357 revolver while his parents were going thru a nasty divorce put the barrel in his mouth and squeezed the trigger...

Was a few years before I could buy another handgun which was a Berreta 92F 9mm...

First HG I shot was my father's T-series Browning HP. He purchased it new back in the early-mid '70s IIRC. It's mine now and still in original mint condition except for the Pachmayr signature grips. This is one piece I'll be handing over to my son when I'm done.
The first HG I purchased was a Ruger 22/45. It's long gone now but just replaced it with a MK3 bull barrel....'cause with the price of ammo these days everyone needs a .22lr HG in their cabinet
