How did it go and the story

I used a Winchester M- 64 , in .32 Win. Sp. It had a vintage receaver peep sight . I was in a ground blind up on a hill.
There was 2 shooting lanes through a hardwood in front of me . The 8 pt. buck walked across the 1 st. lane were I
put shot #1 low in his chest. He jumped up & walked into 2nd. lane & stopped. I put shot #2 in his heart ( blood pumped out)
when he dropped dead. Both shots were about 60 yds. This was my 1st. deer with this M-64 , which belonged to local hunter
who used it from 1950 until his end. I told his son I got a deer with his father's gun.

NFLD moose with Tikka CTR in 6.5 cm 143 ELD-X at about 100 yards. This was my backup rifle actually. Was planning on using my Sako Aii 308 with 180 SST but the internal mag wasn’t ideal for how we were hunting. The creed did fine though. Lung shot and it ran 30 yards. Nothing very eventful.
