What was your last big game taken with

Well there ya go, this was the reason I gave up on archery hunting some time back. Didn't know verifiers were even a thing...going to have to check this out!
Thx :)

I didn't know either, until I started searching for solutions to failing eyesight. The verifier peep worked great, I can see the target more clearly aswell. They come in six color coded power levels... I chose the pink which is in the middle of the pack.

Interesting. I gave up my Tomcat II sometime back. Carpal tunnel and trifocal lenses made it just too difficult. - dan

Browning A-Bolt 338 Win Mag shooting 225gr Accubonds.

The latest was 2 seasons ago when one of the other guys in my group spined a decent bull that dropped behind some cover, ended up riding up to 50 yards to finish him off.

A few weeks before that bull, I shot a nice cow at 186 yards. She stumbled about 20-30 yards just inside the edge of a small stand of black spruce, she was already dead but just didn't know it yet. Dug the slugs out of both moose piled up on the for side of the hide, both look like a picture right out of a magazine.

Tikka 695, 25-06, using 110grn Accubond hand loads

White tail, broke the femur on the way in, shredded the heart and broke the other femur on the way out.

little bugger still ran a bit and took me 15 min looking in the tall grass to find it, half under a log.

Did you shoot that magic bullet from a grassy knoll?

That is awesome, and congrats!!! I love the Ithaca model 37 shotgun. I know that the Remington 870 is the most popular pump shotgun however, Ithaca is the best ever made, great design!
