What was your last big game taken with

Didn’t get out this fall so the last two big game I shot where a Leopard with a 300 Win Mag and a Black Impala with my old 300 H&H.

Whitetail buck. Savage 10MLII 50 caliber muzzleloader. I harvest most of my whitetails with it.

My 10 year old was with me. We were watching two does who had been slowly grazing through our land. A buck came out, sniffed around the ladies, but they wanted nothing to do with him. He cut straight broadside to us approximately 60 yards away and when he was just entering my cut line I "meh'd". He stopped perfectly and I made a good clean shot. He ran out of sight. I try to record my kills if possible, so we watched the video while we waited the 10ish minutes before we went to track him. I confirmed that it was a good shot. We went out to look for blood. We really found the contact point where we found hair and some blood. I let my son do the majority of the "tracking". He needed a little bit of instruction when the tracks hit a "high traffic area". The buck didn't go far. I imagine close to 70 yards. It was close to a perfect area to butcher. Small clearing but well covered from the wind. He helped me gut, skin, and quarter the deer and bag it up. We hiked out and were home by lunch.

Last critter was a smallish bear that walked in my cottage last fall and set the dog off (a daschund). Tried chasing him off but he kept coming back. Then he start tearing the grape trellis apart and would not leave so we popped him with my dad's old Marlin 45 70. Punched a tag, burger and sausage.

2 whitetails with my 6.5 swede in October and November, one smallish but delicious meat buck at 240 yards, and a tasty big fat lone doe at 205 yards. 140 grain hornadys launched at 2750 fps work well every time. Last year, I took a big coyote at 310 yards with the same unit.
Congrats on the kills, especially with that grand old cartridge!

My last 2 were shot at the same time in November. It was a small spike fork blacktail buck and then not 2 minutes later a doe walked out from behind a tree looking at the buck go down, so I shot both within 2 minutes of each other and not 20' apart

I was using my lee Enfield no1 in 303 British with a vortex 3-9 on it about 70m away. The load was 150gr bullet at 2500fps
