what was your Longest kill shot

Last season I spent the first half of November trying to get close with an open sighted BLR in .308. After a couple of really exciting experiences that didn't quite get me a shooting opportunity I brought out the scoped T3 in .270 to make sure I'd get some meat in the freezer. Took a whitetail doe (bang-flop) at 290 paces, bipod, prone.

I'll keep working on both my stalking and shooting, and I'll keep taking animals at both lesser and greater distances.

big game - 250 yards, two different occasions (mule deer, and a moose).

My average shot is around 80 yards over the years

Whitetail doe at 335 yds with Winchester .270, Williams peep sight (prone).

Mulie buck at 370 yds with same rifle, Bushnell 3200 (kneeling).

Black bear at 7-8 yds with same rifle, (offhand, hardest shot I've ever made cause my knees were knocking).

Far enough away that some here would call B.S. , but others that actually kow me would understand that I don't lie.
Suffice it to say that wind was perfectly even , my spotter was right on the money with the dope, and the deer diedbefore it hit the ground.

Sunset and a wide open stubble field with no wind on a whitetail buck at 418 paces (394yds) Used the good old .270Win w/140gr Accubond handload in my Winchester M70 XTR and Leupold M8 6x. Buck broke into a stumbling run at the impact, made about 20 yards and somersaulted into the snow.
