What was your most unique firearm for 2008...

I found a really nice 1948 vintage BRNO 22F 8x57 with a 4x scope in claw mounts. It weighs a touch over 7 lbs and is a really good shooter, double set triggers and all. At some point in time somebody carved a stag's head in the butt...its definitely a keeper !

A Brno 8x57 is on my list of guns to get,the closest thing I got is a Husqvarna Model 640 in 8x57,still waiting for the snow to go away to get to the local range. I have three guns waiting to go and the reloads are stackin' up.............:ar15:

Picked up a few keepers this year, Models 64 and 71 Dlx's and Win 95 in 35 Win. This year's wants are pre 64 Model 70's in 300 and 375 H&H, of course another Brno 21 or 22 or any other vintage piece could find its way in.

Ruger Target Grey Frontier in .308. Nothing incredible, but I do seems to get lots of compliments and questions.

A Ruger K1-A in .35 Whelen....
LTD stainless with walnut stock from Lipsey's
Congrats on that one VERY nice rifle. Glad to see at least one made it up here. Quite an accomplishment to snag one and get it here. I read with interest the gunblast write up on them. I'd be interested in how it shoots and performs for you - when the time is right.

2008 was good, really good, so I don't know where to start. These have to be a couple of the good ones:

Both in 303 savage, both all original. Top one 1914, bottom 1915.

I am Jealous 99Trix. WOW!!!!!!!!1

I bought a Savage LRPV Repeater in 22-250, Savage 114 American Classic in 7 mm Rem Mag, and a 12 gauge Beretta Silver Pigeon V. They are all amazing firearms, although I've yet to shoot the 7 mm.

I also purchase a new stock set for my 99, but at the end of the day it will still fall short of what 99Trix has posted.

Don't you have some young Vietnamese boys hanging around that you can cook breakfast for?:owned:
Thanks for your 2 cents............:onCrack:

Not many Vietnamese in this area, and I don't really cook much in my job these days, but we do have several young, cute Japanese gals working with us.

I still wouldn't by an overpriced Vietnamese pseudo SMLE, though. :p

most unique would be a 1965 Rem 700 ADL in 22-250. First year of production for the 22-250 in the Rem 700 lineup.

Picked up a Winchester model 71 Deluxe:D, ammo is cranked up for it and ready to go, soon as I can get to the range. That may be a while however as it snowed this evening, about 12cm + of fresh wet stuff on my sundeck. May end up being quad & snow plough day tomorrow.;)

Very nice, Hummer.

The Mdl 71 and 1895 are the only lever rifles I really like.:)

The model 71 in 348W is my favorite lever/caliber combo. I had the plain jane model years ago and the day I got rid of it I kicked my butt. This one came up, not cheap but as it is in 95%-98% condition, I 'needed' it. Now, once the weather improves I'll go burn some powder.

Stoeger 2000 three barrel combo NIB.

Not all that special, but the three barrel combo is the first one that I have seen new, its just about broke in...
