Pierre is certainly better on paper than Trudeau but that doesn't mean Pierre can do no wrong simply because he's the better option than Trudeau. We shouldn't put any politicians on a pedestal as a general practice, regardless of their party affiliation.
Pierre has secured my vote. Although I remain hopeful he fufills his many promises, I will not be naive enough to think he is going to fix everything that has been broken. Every modern politician in the world over promises on the campaign and does not fulfill the majority of things they said once they are in office. Campaign promises do not automatically transfer 1:1 to legislative action once in office.
I do genuinely hold onto some hope that Pierre proves me wrong once in office though, I would be thrilled to be proven wrong on that.

A friend of mine put it like this about the american election “345 million citizens and these two are the best you could produce to run yoir country”

Same goes for us up here except the pool to pick from is smaller

  • AR-10, 18.6" inch if classifications are unchanged, probably a 14.5 or 16 inch if the classifications are changed/simplified to OAL like has been hinted at.

If everything, including the 90's banned guns end up getting unbanned, I'd really like a FAL/SA58 some day.

Sorry if this has been covered b4..What exactly has or is PP & CPC exactly going to do {for us}?
Do we have specifics on what will all be reversed/changed etc. & HOW Fast can it be done? with all these BS OIC's...will it go beyond that?
 
EVERYTHING!!! (That was in the OIC) so M14, Vz58, 3 or 4 AR 15's, maybe a scorpian (I prefer the GHM9), and throw in a couple type 81's. Oh and any 1911's I can get my hands on.
 
What Pierre needs to do is quietly reverse the OICs, not make a big spectacle of it

99% of Canadians do not give a F about guns they care about money

After the illegal OICs are reversed, hopefully we can go farther with repealing, and enshrining property rights for gun owners

After that I'm not opposed to concealed carry, use of supressors, also unrestrict handguns for use on private property and Crown land, allow full capacity magazines of all calibers to unlimited and just scrap the Rpal and Prohibited class of firearms classification all together.....

I am interested in the ruger magpul glock thing, or a done up 19.
I've always wanted a HK sfp9/vp9 shortest barrel with optic cut or a .45 USP
I hesitated on the cz shadows and never got one.
The CZ97B I'd like to try one day.
A Staccato or wilson combat 9mm 2011 (assuming they made them drop safe by now).
Maybe a 92SF or M9, but I was never a fan of the beretta.
I also have never tried a desert eagle, so a .44 or 357 might be ok.
I hope these all come back.

I did nab a hipower before the ban. Whenever I want to remind myself how much I hated the hipower, I take it to the range, shoot it once and remember how much I disliked them.

Handguns, I've eyed a few, but I'd like to get something like a Glock.
