What Would an Investment Grade Long Branch No 4 Mk 1 T Sniper Rifle Set Me Back?

There is a #### load of Canadian snipers out there, just judging by the number of REL scopes I have overhauled over the past 20 to 30 years.
Some were just tubes beat to snot but they are back in the aggregate and hopefully still be in working condition for the next 80 years.
It is just amazing what people can do to a scope and as the glass shop says: "thank God for little boys with sling shots", I can say: "thank God to little boys with vise grips"
If anyone has a turret for the Mk.1,2 or 3 that has been ground up by vise grips I can replace the turret reasonably and have and most all of the related parts.
I also can convert the Mk.1 scope to 1 MOA other than the 2 MOA for those that want to tighten things up a bit and have Mk2 & 3 grouping.
No range drums yet but working on it as well as 7.62 conversion of the Mk.3 to L1A1 config.
If you want to contact me, a PM to WHEATY here will do.
I do everything from complete rebuilds with suncorite 259, cross hairs to lenses to parts damaged by attempted repairs and disassembly.
cheers,
Wheaty
If this is out of place here and against rules, please just zap it.....

Wheaty is a national treasure! :)

He worked expertly on my no32 scope and without him i would be with a non-working scope.

Now my no4(T) shoots beautifully, on target, and is in my "guns I shall never sell" list !

I fully and heartily second the sentiment. Warren did amazing work on a broken (over-torqued) Lead Screw in a Taiwanese Clone No 32 Mk 2 Scope that matched a clone Long Branch Rifle. Without that particular scope, the package was horribly incomplete and worth less than half of the value with the scope intact. Warren not only repaired the scope, he did so with a very fast turn-around and free of charge!! I HIGHLY recommend Warren for anything to do with WW2 wartime optics, but especially the No 32 scopes. He IS a National Treasure!

I'm going to send him my Taiwanese No32 replica after hunting season to see if he can figure out the weird fuzzy area right in the middle of the image .... right where the target is when aiming through the middle of the scope. :(
