What would you pay for legal full cap AR15 magazines?

lol. I finally got my legal response letter from Remington to present to the RCMP.

I thought Remington's address was really funny:

even if you AR guys get high cap rounds the rifles are still restricted, and there are ranges out there that specifically say semi auto=5rounds. No exceptions.

A thread was made about a range like that here in BC... I think it was a guy in Poco using a 10 round mag and the range officer freaked on him cause the range rules clearly stated 5 round capacity for semi auto rifles.
 
if its a good range with smart owners like crafm not only would they let u use the mags they'd be stocking them and selling them and making a nice profit

lol... that's a good one.

Their first reason was "That the Remington 7615P pump action rifle shares the same magazine platform as the Remington 7400 series semi automatic firearms." Not that the fact what it'll end up working in has ANYTHING to do with the magazine! sheesh.

When I called Remington they almost fell off their chairs laughing. They've never even produced the 7400 in .223 :D

Why have 10 when you can have 30 or 100?

The shortie 10rd'ers don't work in my FS2000 (even with the magpul) :D. That's the main reason ;)

Unfortunatly it takes them about a week to notify you when they have denied your request. If they decide to approve it, they seem to take about a year to tell you :(.

One of the staff at the gun counter at wholesale sports in Calgary gave me a lecture on how I can use unpined AR15 mags in the Rem pump rifle (that they sell) and that I can't use the 10rd pistol mags in my AR15. Claims they sold a load of unpinned 30rd AR15 mags recently for use with the Rem pump rifle. Insited that the round limit only applies to the gun not the mag.

I should add that I see it as being what the mag is made for not what it is used with.
