Unfortunately lost my uncle to cancer a month ago. The man was a big outdoorsman and naturally had a pretty enviable collection of firearms throughout his life. I found it interesting and incredibly sad going through his collection which was transferred to me to sell.
Luckily some family members took interest in what he had and I was able to keep some guns in the family.
Thought it would be cool to show you guys what he kept all the way to the end. Some of these will end up on the EE soon.
So many deer ended up on the dinner table as a result of this guy
Somehow managed to blow up the end of this gun's barrel, resulting in a one inch loss to the barrel length and no choke
An oldy Lakefield .22
Every gun owner should have one, Remmy 870, Can't beat the old ones
Glenfield Model 30A, never seen one before this. Really crisp action.
One of my personal favourites, Winchester Model 94
Toz 54? Universal? Double 12ga.
Remington Nylon .22
Browning A-Bolt 7mm - kicks like a mule
Cooey Model 75 .22
Stoeger Mod Coachgun 20ga
Sureshot 12ga. Grandfather's shotgun (Uncle's dad). Pretty old. Keeping this one.
Benelli Superblack Eagle and Browning Bar .270. Both Kept in the family.
Lastly this was a weird find. The ever so useless .22lr birdshot in a very fancy case.
It's unfortunate that my uncle passed. I wished he still had all of this in his cabinet. Regardless it was a pretty neat experience for me. Figured a few of you on here would fine it interesting.
