If I had a new SKS that I wanted to make it as light as possible, to use for hunting, what is the best way to make this Porky Gun look like its been eating Lean Cuisine?
I know about removing the bayonet, and grinding off the bracket, but is there a really light modern stock out there that makes a big difference? I don't think that the factory original wood stock is that heavy to begin with.
Is it impossible to make this gun lighter by 1-2 lbs, since it is built so strong?
