Whats the hardest kicking gun you ever fired?

Hardest kicking would be my dad's spanish double barrel duel trigger 12 gauge. I shot both barrels at once with 2x 3" turkey loads. My nose was bleeding and my hand's knuckles were in rough shape. The stock didn't crack but the internal spring for the firing pin got stretched out because of recoil.

Yep, double fired my spanish sxs, it didn't hurt the shoulder, but it sliced my finger nice.
As far as hardest kicking, 3 1/2's out of my buddies benelli nova, with the stock concrete pad.

Hands down, a .300 RUM Remington 700. Honourable mention must go to a .338 WM M70 with 250gr bullets. Oh yeah and a Brno ZKK602 .458WM I had decades ago.

It was not the worst recoil but the results were the worst I ever received. A No 5 Lee Enfiled. I have large hands and when I fire any rifle which you must hold the stock I get the recoil right in the nose from my right hand. Firing the No 5 with a shorter stock makes my face closer to my right hand. I fired the first round. I thought I was hit in the nose with a hammer, it hurt. Needless to say there was also blood all over my face and rifle. Being pig headed I fired the remaining 9 rds. My nose was tender for about a week needless to say. Not thje most recoil but the worst results.

And you can add to that the TINY little, (now) rock hard rubber recoil ENHANCERS they call buttpads

After 25 rounds my shoulder was black and blue for a week. But that was years ago when I was skinny....

I gotta say 3" slugs from my 870's with 20" barrels, gun is nice and light to carry, but take it to the range and after 10 rnds well thats more than enough of a pounding. My 338 winmag was not as hard kicking to shoot.

Springfield Trapdoor loaded with full military BP round and 500gr round nose.It hurt only because i didn't hold it right to my shoulder.
