Whats the hardest kicking gun you ever fired?

fully rifled barrel, 3 inch mag sabot slug, shot from a Norc 870 with the recycled tire butt pad.. I have fired a lot of firearms over 30+ years.. but nothing stings so bad or punches my cheek so violently.

Nothing too bad for me. I currently own a Winchester Model 70 Alaskan in .375 H&H Magnum. I used to own a Marlin 1895GBL in .45/70. I don't mind the .375 at all. The .45/70 however was a little too much for me. The extra 2 pounds or so of weight and the extra 6 inches or so of barrel make the .375 far more pleasant to shoot. It makes the .375 seem to have less recoil and less noise, even though (I think) it has more stopping power.

My Ruger #1 in 458win mag after 5 doesn't feel too good, but I think my custom 404 Jeffery (8lbs scoped), loaded properly takes the cake. It'll turn your hat sideways!!!

Jw2000 shorty shooting 00buck was way harder kicking than my 45-70 SBL.

The 45-70 felt like my mini thirty by comparison

Can't wait to shoot the 416 Ruger Guide Gun this weekend to see where it fits in the mix

As of late the hardest kicking gun I have is my Marlin SBL. I did some testing with factory and my handloads. Factory loads are very mild compared to handloads.

I may have already posted in this thread. I used to have a Ruger No. 1 .450 Nitro Express that for some reason Ruger put a C contour barrel on. It weighed 7.8 pounds bare. I got a 500 grain bullet to 2450 fps (No. 1 can take a lot more pressure than an old double.) Although I added a 10 oz lead tube in the buttstock and a 1 lb scope, that rifle was still a monster. 110 ft/lbs of recoil if you shot a handload in the bare rifle.

12 gauge shotgun, dont know the make. It were a short light weight gun, single shot. When I touched er off the recoil knocked my false teeth right out of my mouth. You should have seen my shooting partners howl. They were on the ground laughing so hard they had to hold their sides and were crying. It was hilarious. Normally recoil does not bother me in the least however this was a horse of a different color

Just in case it hadn't been done..
