Whats the latest deal with T97?

Have you tried other mag types? I have constant issues with c products .50 beo mags causing rounds to ram the feed ramp,

But all other mags work perfect.

PCV .50 beo

Corwin arms generic AR mags
Dominion arms 5/20 mags

Good for you. Could you take a pic and show us? You may have did a better job than I did. What mags did you use?

ill take pics if i remember to when i get home, it looks pretty much exactly like your old ones tho. all of my mags work after tightening up the magwell with jbweld. my c-products 5/30s are all perfectly snug, the two mags that came with my t97 needed a little filing to make fit but are great now, the terrible mags with the hole cut out of the side that came with my norc ar work, and the 2 .50 beo aluminum mags i have work with 14 rounds stuffed in. the tight magwell and slight bevel on the chamber entrance made the biggest differences from what i can tell, i think the recoil causes the mags to move too much and rounds jump out at odd angles when they were looser.

How did you JBweld the magwell? That sounds quite professional.

Forgot to take pictures.. (i primarily browse here while at work). The jbweld was not professional lol, my mags would rock forward to backwards a lot, so i just mixed up a little jbweld putty, put it on the inside of the magwell on the back, where that line is machined all the way through, and then used a file and removed material until it fit a standard stanag mag snuggly, but still loosely enough to drop free. (ended up having to file the hell out of the back of one of the mags that came with my t97 for it to fit, but it worked out.)

Reliability feed issues?
The only time I have had reliability problems with my T97 was while I was shooting out in the bush with wood chips everywhere. The T97 was unloaded and on the ground. I then started getting feeding problems. Gas setting to the fouled level and it was feeding again no problem. When I went to clean the T97 I found a piece of wood neatly wedged in right by the feed ramps. It at first looked like a part of the firearm. Removed and no problems feeding back on gas setting 1.

I used D&H mags. No issues. These mags feed reliably in my AR rifles, my Tavor and my T97. I only have two gen2 magpuls for practicing manipulations. I don't use Pmags for actual shooting. The 10 round LAR mag I have seems to feed well in everything as well.
