The only better prices are for different rifles, now that NS is the importer the price will be $2000 or whatever they decide the stupid "DMR" model is going to retail for which could very well be even more.
Modern x39 with monolithic rail, I understand that to a point but it is a x39 so does it really need a bunch of rails and crap? Not in my opinion anyway. It's not the most accurate round and there really aren't a lot of options outside of surplus unless you want to spend as much on ammo as any other black rifle that outperforms the x39 cartridge in every category so for me anyway, I'd like something cooler looking than an SKS but I don't need to spend $2000 to get something fun and reliable from a company that hasn't blatantly screwed us in order to supplement poor US sales.
Between this and the XCR-L in x39 I'll go buy a used keymod XCR-L for about the same price before one of these any day of the week, not only because it's been around a few years now, has caliber conversions for a reasonable price, and we know they aren't going out of business any time soon but also because Wolverine is standing behind them, you will NEVER get service from NS that is even remotely close to what Wolverine will give any XCR owner.
