Hi Everyone.
I've been looking into carrying powders & primers. I would like to know what the most popular ones are. Any input would be very much appreciated.
Then I can serve you even better.
Regards, Henry

For say 9mm pistol - TiteGroup and Fed or Win primers. TiteGroup is good and clean and cheaper powder many look for. Win primers would be easier to ship and store as they come in way smaller boxes.

I currently have in my powder inventory:

RL-22
RL-19
IMR 4064
IMR 4831
IMR 4895
H110
WW231
Red Dot

Primers have all been CCI so far, #200, #250, and #300 and I have no reason to switch at this point.

Target shooters/varminters like Varget, Re15, Re17, Re19, Re22, Re25 H4831, H4350, N140, N150, N550, H4895, N-133, H322, benchmark and more. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

Small Rifle = Primers would be CCI 400, BR4, 450, Wolf small rifle magnum, Federal 205M, Remington 7 1/2's.

Large Rifle = CCI 200, 250, Federal 210, 215. Don't see too many Rem 9 1/2's but maybe they aren't as popular around here...

very interesting, all the different opinions...

here is what I am using:

Win. 231 for handguns
and
Bluedot for heavier loads in 357mag and 44mag

Varget
is the only powder I use in all my rifles

Winchester small and large pistol primers
as well as
Winchester small and large rifle primers

I am trying to keep things simple.

Probably would keep Unique on hand if I was limited to one pistol powder.
IMR4895 for rifle if limited to one.
And I like Federal primers the best.

I run through Varget and Tite Group and the corresponding CCI 200 large rifle and Winchester small pistol like water.

Federal 215M on occasion.

Trail Boss for my .45 Colts and 1866 Yellow Boy.
Trail Boss and Varget for my .45-70's
I like Winchester Primers as they seem a little softer and easier to seat than CCI's.

I have no real opinion on primers, I've had good experiences with CCI, Winchester and Federal.

Powder, IMR 4895 or IMR 4064 for rifle, and Unique for .45 ACP.
