Greg Popik's useless firearms list

  1. The one you forgot to load before comming to the gunfight
  2. The one you loaded before leaving home, but forgot to actually bring before walking out the font door
  3. The one you need but no longer own because you cratered to media fear mongering and turned it in for destruction
  4. The one you spent 10x the money on, misguidedly thinking it would make you a better fighter; only later realizing it merely left you with insufficient money to buy decent magazines and bullets.
  5. The one you spent 1/10 the money on, mistakenly believing that you're so f%#$ing good that quality doesnt matter; merely leaving you with a lemon you have to spend the other 9/10 repairing said POS after every trip to the range.
  6. The one you screwed up because some retard told you cleaning after firing does not matter, and you believed him
  7. The OTHER one you screwed up because you heard from the SAME retard that a vinegar bath is the quickest way to clean your rifle and you STILL hadn't learned common sense.
  8. The one you bought thinking after reading a Guns & Ammo mag article that said using 5.56 (f*ck - or was it 7.62 this month) will effectively make chicks will start digging you again.
  9. The hunting rifle you bought INSTEAD of a handgun or semi; mistakenly thinking that those liberal social perverts wouldnt eventually target a good fellow like yourself.
  10. The guns in the hands of all those well trained cops whom the Liberals claim are going to magically rescue you in the inevitable case of your dire need; they should really be in YOUR well trained hands in case of dire need.

i'm pretty sure thats it in my list of stupid gun ideas.

More or less, I believe I'll pass on the hokey Norinco, SKS, cast vs forged, non-gas impingment rocks/sucks debates.

I don't see any use for anything chambered for the .25 cal. centerfire. Half the velocity of a .22 rimfire. About the only thing good about it is that being centerfire, the chances of it going boom rather than click are far better. I'd stick with the .22 rimfire.

Yep I currently Own Two 700's a 223 SPS and a 260 Titanium :cool:
Despite the Odd Screw up the 700 remains a Great package:)
 
C'mon... It should be pretty obvious. The most useless gun is one that doesn't do the job when you need it to! Any other argument is just personal preference!
