I have a LMT BUIS but I'd like to replace it with a flip up BUIS so that I can eventually mount an EOTECH 552.

Recommendations?

I've looked at the MAD briefly - the ARMS 40L doesn't look that bad either. I'm trying to avoid something with huge bulky screws - like the LMT.

Surprisingly the Wilson Combat BUIS doesn't look to bad ... but the windage knob is a little on the HUGE side.

I have this behind my EOTech and I like it, Co-Witness perfection. I have removed the EOTech and used it on another rifle, then reinstalled it and sighted it in using the BUIS and its bang on. If you want a pick, LMK.

Not a bad looking BUIS PEI - but I'm not a big fan of the GIANT knurled screw to attack it to the upper.

I plan on screwing it on and leaving it there... I don't really need a GIANT frigging screw sticking out the side of my rifle.

This isn't too bad --

Any seen one of these in person?

I traded my ARMS40 in for the 40L because I wanted something that gave me the small apeture instantly when flipped up.
The optic is there for CQB <150m, I like that I can turn it off and instantly take long shots with the tiny apeture.

Could you be less specific? :D

So far there's pics of 5 different BUISeses...

LOL, good point. I was refering to the 40 L SP in your pic above. The KAC 300 in the pics on the first page is mine.

TSE appears to be an ARMS dealer... dunno who else carries ARMS stuff.

Edited to add ---

What is the difference between an ARMS #40L same-plane and regular ARMS #40L?

I'm running a LMT behind my Eotech. Nothing wrong with that set up.

Nope.... nothing wrong with it.

I just want something a little more streamlined.

My hope is to replace the front post and fixed rear with flip-ups and run mainly an eotech...

Question for anyone with a ARMS 40L SP.

How does it lock? Up? Down? Both? Do you need to press something to move it?

Edited to add: I like the 2 aperture sizes of the GG&G and ARMS.

A spring keeps it in the upright position, it pops back up if bumped, the lock bar on the RH side keeps it down until you pull back on it, comes up with the small aperture in place, I really liked mine once I removed the small aperture...
