Pretty straight forward thread! As draw results are coming out and plans trying to solidify with the "re-opening" of the country, what are you planning on hunting in 2020?

I'll start:
Saskatchewan - Spring Black Bear was a success with a big ol' boar (21 7/16);
Saskatchewan - Draw Either-### Mule deer;
Saskatchewan - OTC Whitetail;
Saskatchewan - OTC Elk;
Saskatchewan - Honkers;

Montana - Draw General Deer;
Montana - General Elk + Permit (didn't draw permit so turned in my Gen tag);
Montana - Antelope (still waiting on results);

Wyoming - Draw General Deer;
Wyoming - Draw Either-### Antelope;
Wyoming - 2x Draw Doe/Fawn Antelope;

Idaho - Draw Elk (didn't draw);
Idaho - Draw Antelope (didn't draw); and

Manitoba - OTC Whitetail (in case the border doesn't open in time).

Obviously, still waiting on the border to open up and hoping it does, in time, and without any isolation period...

Man i wish I had that much free time and the money to travel that much to hunt!

Not nearly as extensive as your list, but here it is:
Spring bear was successful!
BC moose draw - waiting on results.
OTC Mule deer, black bear, whitetail.
Small chance I try to chase OTC elk too.

Whitetail, Mule and Elk with my son.

Coyote, grouse, rabbit.

Antelope is always a dream, still waiting on draw results.

All of my hunting will be done in Ontario. Spring bear was a success. I live in an area with a high population of them so it doesn't take a lot to be successful in hunting them and this year was no different.

Whitetails - tags TBD in early august but I'm going regardless. I only have one week of guaranteed vacation this year and I used it for the first week of November so this is definitely happening.

Moose - it's the last year for the old system. For the past few years I was invited to hunt with a group of local guys but I always declined. This year I figured screw it, I'll try hunting with them. The WMU we'll hunt in has no guaranteed group size but we have the maximum 15 people in our group so we should get a bull tag. And I should be able to get the week off. But nothing's guaranteed yet so I won't know for sure if all the stars will align properly for me to be able do this hunt until just before it's set to happen.

The rest of my time will be spent chasing grouse and other small game.

15 days for sheep in August.
7 days BC archery elk in September
5 day Alberta rifle elk in late September
October hunt cancelled (maybe back to sheep or goat hunt instead)
7 days whitetail in November.

I'm not rich, I probably just have a mental illness...

One thing I do have is the opportunity to take a lot of time off for hunting.

Oh I'm not saying you're rich, I'm just poor! Lol

Guns and hunting are not cheap hobbies when you're a single income family in the big city...

i'm thinkin most of my hunting season will be spent wishing i was hunting but we'll see.
In pretty rough shape lately so will try for local deer and bear when i can drum up a hunting partner.
Would love to do early season moose but again... pretty banged up right now and would need a strong and patient hunting partner(s)
put in the BC draws for the wife and I but results aren;t ready. We put in for moose, mulie does and late elk.

If neither of us pulls a moose draw and I don't manage an early season august hunt..... I might just hire a guide this year. I badly want a decent bull..... no 50 incher required,,,, just a nice decent tasty bull hehehe

we'll see how I'm doing come fall.

I have a moose hunt in Quebec all set up, will have a bull or a cow tag for three hunters.
Also in the draw for Ontario moose and elk, if I draw both the tail end of elk season overlaps with the start of moose season for two days, it will also coincide with open deer (archery only) and bear season so that should be a couple of really fun days.
I am in the draw with a friend in Alberta for mule deer in S.E. Alberta, not likely to draw this year but fingers crossed!
I have a fabulous bowhunting spot about 20 minutes from home that I will spend every possible minute in a tree stand there this fall between all the other draws.
Also going to get the old pups out for a few early season upland hunts, my old boy can't take the cold too much any more so he is an early season hunter only now.
Should be a great fall.

I go out with a buddy and his son sometimes comes out with us. We should draw cow elk tags for one of the southern Alberta prairie WMUs this year, and will draw antlerless mulie tags in the same zone, so it hopefully will be a fill the freezer season. I'd really like to fill the elk tag this year if we get drawn for the tag.

all pending if the fckn government opens the border

september guiding waterfowl and helping two buddies get their bull elk
mix this in with hopefully guiding fall bear since spring bear didnt happen

set up 60 whitetail bait sites for an outfitter

october i have cow elk and wifey has cow moose

keep up 3 whitetail bait stands going for deer season

and if anyone needs help with any big game animal during the season,i am sure i will get called out

Same old for me.
Archery elk starting in the end of August followed by archery mule deer then moose

Otc moose starting oct 15
Then the usual November whitetail open season unless I get ambitious and go after them with the muzzleloader or bow. That and hopefully a few trips for upland and migratory birds.

Same old for me.
Archery elk starting in the end of August followed by archery mule deer then moose

Unless I draw my Idaho elk tag, or the border remains closed, I'll be heading north for my first OTC elk hunt! I'll give it a try, worst thing that can happen is time away from work in the woods!!!
