Neighbour gave me his spare MEC loader. I didn't use it enough, to I gave it back.
Few years later he's cleaning out some old stock at his factory, and gave me a 5 gallon pail of high tin content solder. Problem was that the stuff was rosin core, so I melted and processed it all on an old Dutch Oven and made it all into pretty little molds that I use to sweeten up some batches of lead for my cast boolits.
Gave a buddy a very minty almost new SxS shotgun. It was so new that it was so tight that you had to push down on the barrels when opening the action. An afternoon of skeets worked the action smooth, and as far as I know he still has it. He got the gun for helping me with a bunch of work around my property and I had more guns than cash to compensate him with, and he wouldn't take cash, but he would take the gun. Go figure.
