What's your coyote gun? (And what terrain)

25-06 stevens 200 with a harris bipod uncle mikes sling quick detach swivels and a 6-24x44ao barska scope for field hunting coyotes and clearcut hunting wolves in northern ontario. Shotgun for bush hunting 3" #4 buck for a mossberg 535ats or baikal ij58

How do you like the 25-06? I'm going to build one for longer range varmints.

I like this setup, I am a single shot fan so I have been looking at getting another one, and have been considering a .223 for a while.

Cooper model 21 Classic 6x47 222Rem.Mag with Leupold VX11-4x12x40 AO 70gr Nosler Ballistic tip loaded to 3,000-3,100 fps works very nice longest kill 580yds. he was hit low had to go closer for the finishing shot. On that note was out yesterday yote;s were everywhere saw 21 4 kills closest 60 yds furthest 300yds. No calling just road hunting they were standing around stubble fields being breeding season they must be more active or they were just enjoying the nice weather.

Remington model 700BDL in 17 remington. I have used it out to 300 yards no problem. Kills them bang flop dead first shot!

Currently it is a Norinco bolt action .223 with a fixed 4x scope. I hunt along the south Saskatchewan river hidden in the high brushy banks and mostly call coyotes for across the river or from islands. Once they come across the open ice you will normally get a couple of shots if you miss the first one. This year the banks are 15 feet or so above the water level.

stevens model 200 in 22-250 with a bushnell 3-9x in a boyds stock with an older harris bipod. loging roads and kinda hilly. shortest shot about 75 meters longest was out to 300.

I've also used my Sako AV 25-06 with Leupold Vari-X 111 3.5-10 for long range / windy conditions but only killed a couple with that one.

Well not much for yotes up where i live.I have only seen one,i did get him with my wolf gun remington 243 heavy barrel hs stock with leupold 6-18 with target knobs. The load that works for me is 85gr partion at 3350fps.It is very open were we hunt so mostly longer shots but the wolf in the picture was shot at 22 yards.
