whats your favorite caliber?

hey guys i was woundering what your favorite rifle caliber is? im looking on getting a new gun and i was not sure what caliber to get it in?

It's also nice because of the lack of recoil for teaching the wife how to shoot.

.25 cal would be a very close #2....Have had a bit of a love affair with the 25-06, along with the BOB...My buddy just had a 25-284 built, that I can't wait to try out this spring.

I'd say the 3006 as it gave us the 2506 and the 35 whelen. The action length is great. If I had to choose I'd say 2506. Gophers to moose one gun decent for all
