Whats Your Favorite MILSURP?!?!

I can't pick a favourite as I love them all, however I put some odd choices which make for a different experience at the range.

Swiss G1889, fun to shoot with the 12rd magazine and the magazine cut-off
Portuguese M1904/39, very smooth bolt with the benefit of the Mauser magazine system
Berthier M1907/15, again a smooth bolt, and the three round magazine is odd
M91 Carcano, easy to use, no kick, and reasonably accurate provided you feed it good ammo

For accuracy with jacketed bullets- 38 Swede
For accuracy with cast (and just fitting me well) an 03A3. My favourite range plinker.
Runner up for cast accuracy a M39 MN
Garand- most younger shooters are in awe and I always give them the opportunity to have a go. A couple have actually thought they broke my rifle when a part flew off with their last shot
For pure "workmanship" 1908 Brazilian
Not often seen and shooting opportunities rare in my neck of the woods- 99 Arisaka
In reality maybe my favourite is the one I've decided to take out for the day

I've given this a lot of thought over the years and I'm pretty much of the same mind as yourself in that I like them all too. If I had to pick a single favourite I suppose I would lean to a Model 71 Mauser we have that has been in the family for decades. A lot of fun to shoot and quite accurate not to mention the family provenance.

It would have to be Lee Enfields. My people carried them in several conflicts. I like the sleek look of a nice old No.1 Mk3, and the more boxy look of the No.4.

Who am I trying to kid - I like them all!!
