What's your guys go to clay cartridge?

Challenger 1oz high velocity, I buy a few cases when they go on sale at cabelas for $67.99 and I use one of their $20 off purchase of $150 or more coupons.

Otherwise Federal Top Gun 2 3/4 dram 1 1/8 oz from the club for $8/box

When I buy, the cheap stuff seems to work OK. When I pretend to be serious about handicap I used premium. AAs always worked for me. When I use a 12 for fun for trap, skeet or sporting I use a 7/8 or 3/4 oz reload loaded with wheel weight shot.

If you are a member of a club, you can get them way cheaper. A club I belong to buys ammo in bulk and sells to member just a few dollars above cost.

You were not alone. Years ago when I was pulling/scoring registered handicap for the long yardage guys, they were almost always using Silver Bullets. A little raunchy in the recoil department for me.
