What's your home defence handgun?

i always have one of my G22 on hands beside the bed, but legaly stored in a mini safe . the door of that safe can be opened in a blink by a push button. it barely hold 1 gun slide open and 2 mags. it's legal.

i keep one of these next to the bed so I can beat the person with it

When things go bump in the night I call 1911 and then 8 friends are at my fingertips to rescue me.;)

Enjoy poverty. After the legal and civil lawsuits are over, you won't have anything left.

Baricade yourself in the room, dial 911 and wait for assistance.

BTW I keep a shotgun in my room, but the above advice still applies.

I have a cell phone so I can dial 911 and wait for the police to rescue me.

....then police officers might be able to scrape your death body and your beloved ones from the wall with a spoon , your meat still warm???....you might have joked, cuze everyone know the scouts climbs off only when everythings is done.

i cant think of a way to have it stored in an accessible way while still being legal.
plus my handguns arent the most reliable ones.

I call 911, wait for the lady in Pr. George to answer, repeat my Terrace address twice to her and wait patiently as she tries to get hold of the one RCMP officer on duty at night here in Terrace. Asuming he isn't having coffee or on a break or dealing with a domestic dispute over in the trailer court I can count on being rescued sometime before sunrise OR ...I go downstairs, unlock my guns safe, unlock my ammo box, load my unloaded 10 rd mags and then.....dumb thread.

Take Care

50 dollar 12x12 safe has a gun right on the picture on the box. Bolted into my bedside table with a touchpad lock. Glock 17 and a couple mags not in the gun of course. I even went so far as to call the cfo and confirm it is legal.

bolted under the bed realy make that stash quite stealth and fast reach + bedroom door with a usable lock=LEGAL. these are fast access vaults(mini). then, all left is a good management of the locked-unlocked state when it count:D

Where I live, my defensive weapons are my perimeter alarms and my cell phone.

I keep a notepad and several pens for the police officer in case he leaves his in the car. He will want to start his SOCO report as soon as possible.

I also keep a camera at the bedside so that he won't have to drive back to the station to get one. It's important that the photos be of very fresh wounds.

A pen at the bedside might be considered a lethal weapon in Ontario, so I keep them in a separate location. My wife knows the location in case I am killed by the intruder.

Fortunately, I sold my SAAB some years ago. In Ontario, acquistion and possession of a SAAB would probably be construed as intent to kill. This would mean an additional lawsuit from the intruder-victim, should I have made the mistake of defend myself and my family.

When I'm in The States, it's a Glock G22 with night sights, Speer Gold Dot 180 gr. hollow points and a Surefire. Loaded with one in the pipe.
