Dunno what you guy's are waxing so nostalgic about. FN had lot's of good features but couldn't mount a scope well. I liked the adjustable gas system. Stock ergonomics were poor. Loved the left side cocking. Sights were good.
M14s are just as much fun to shoot . I have fired both at 500 m and prefer the M14. Besides, for the time being , this is all we have.
All it would take to get these back is an order in council, redeclaring the status of the firearm. The gov't could write an order in council declaring that the fn-fal and its variants are "restricted" it is that easy, it was that easy to make them prohibited. But the gov't has no desire to this for us, so we can sit and wonder.
m14 (clones) which are legal yet real m14's are prohibited by name and share certain parts commonality with real m14s
Harpers a douche. Just look at his face.
If I remember right, I think Marstar posted in a thread a while back that they had several hundred, new, Unissued FAL's (L1A1's?) sitting is a warehouse off shore somewhere. If we could get the FAL off the prohib list, I would have to guess Martsar would bring these in. I would defiantly be waiting in line to buy one.
What do we base an argument on? Where does one start?
