Their old MRP at 2000 USD is too expensive for what it is, in reality that barrel change is not quite "QD" and the trouble of switching barrel basically killed the barrel swapping fad back in the SCAR days. The extra barrel itself costws almost the same as a complete upper.
And the biggest problem is that the standard CQB MRP (8" ish?) is too short for 14.5" and 16" carbine by the modern "shooting" standard. If you go for the next length up ( designed for the 20" and up barrel ), you can't really use a 10.5" barrel on it. For all these factors, at the price range, may as well buy a Colt Canada or a Giessele URGI - cheaper, faster and less complicated to swap uppers.
