Where are all the LMT's

Their old MRP at 2000 USD is too expensive for what it is, in reality that barrel change is not quite "QD" and the trouble of switching barrel basically killed the barrel swapping fad back in the SCAR days. The extra barrel itself costws almost the same as a complete upper.

And the biggest problem is that the standard CQB MRP (8" ish?) is too short for 14.5" and 16" carbine by the modern "shooting" standard. If you go for the next length up ( designed for the 20" and up barrel ), you can't really use a 10.5" barrel on it. For all these factors, at the price range, may as well buy a Colt Canada or a Giessele URGI - cheaper, faster and less complicated to swap uppers.

It's a blast to shoot alright!. Short barrel with a 3-prong FH. Here's an old pic of my son shooting it indoors setting the targets on fire:)

Still got my brand new unfired LMT lower (L7C2). Just sold my 10.5" LMT Upper and might list this as well. Just don't shoot much anymore and slowly getting out of the game.

The pictured "Urban Entry" configuration features a 13" .308 cal Barrel with an LMT SOPMOD Buttstock and a Vortex PST2 1-6x Scope. The Burnt Bronze CeraKote was a factory-applied, Special Edition finish. According to Questar, mine was apparently the only one like that sold in Canada.

LMT in Canada pretty much got phased out when Questar stopped being Questar.

As far as prices go, LMT releasted a statement a few months ago that they were lowering all their prices.
 
You guys are talking about Questar stopped working, but I just placed an order for RRA Upper and their system accepted my payment of almost 1.5 grand, no problem. Should I be worried?
 
Wow, that's crazy, thx guys for the eye opener. Their website looks like business as usual thou. Will see if they refuse to reply or issue the refund.
Then will take it further from there and let my bank deal with them.

I guess this dashes my hopes of picking up an LMT. Glad I stumbled upon this thread before I gave Questar any money. Off to the EE I go. Thanks!
