Where Can I Buy An M14...

The Bell markings raise another question..... Is this a custom order that Norinco did for Bell? The experts on CGN tell me that Norinco will not do an order unless it is for thousands of rifles. If those experts are correct AND if this was a custom order for Bell, there must be more than 3 or 4 dozen rifles out there in the Canadian supply chain.

Yes this was a custom order for Bell... The markings prove that... and so far we've only heard about 100 rifles or so... So the "experts" are full of more then just hot air...

Norinco is the manufacturer, owns all the factories across china. Polytech is only a trading company initially found to import/export for military.

what he said hehehe and he knows these things better than I.
I would imagine that polytech/norinco will never stop manufacturing or exporting the M14 type platform. I am also pretty darn positive that Bell, being a company I know quite well, would not shy away from ordering several if not more containers of these rifles after seeing the melee that insues everytime a container hit our good friend's at Marstar's shop.
In my opinion, these rifles could have and would have fetched 599 to 699 in the very beginning when Marstar and a few others began bringing them in enmasse. This has become an age of a global market with dwindling profit margins...... companies like Bell are out to make money .... and I damn glad they chose to do it by bringing in more of these rifles. I think the m305 variant of the M14 platform is going to be to the 2000's like the 30-30 and the no1mk3 enfield was to the 1900's, almost everyone has had one in thier gunsafe at some point in thier lives :D
bring on another boatload

Why wouldn't they make some improvements on them if they made a special order???

Like get rid of that crappy flash hider?

So these 'should be' the same quality?? or do you think there will be a variance between shipments or lots?

I can see BELL ordering a few thousand....and just sitting on them while the prices go up.

$540 this summer.....$600 over the NEw YEar.....$750 by the end of next year.

That's a ####load of money to just sit on... Doesn't make practical business sense... after all these would be fully paid for all transport costs, duty(?) bond, GST, they would also have to be entered into the cfrs and then warehoused... Say 1000 you are looking at something on the order of 400K just sitting there... taking up space...

Money is best when it's doing something...

We now have the Chinese m305 (M 14) in stock. The black synthetic models are $525, camo stock is $550. 20/5 round mags are $49. Phil

Marstar M14s

marstar has wooden stocked ones right now for $425 only 100 of them

I don't see them on Marstar's website.

But the good news is , there is another dealer in Canada who seems to be able to secure shipments of 35 M14s (30 black and 5 camo) every two weeks. They're "back one more time" ..... until the next time they're back.

I wonder if the constriction in the supply line lies with Bell Lifestyle products or is it somewhere else?
