Arguably tougher and thinner (tolerances), is CeraCoat which requires industrial baking to cure, but produces awesome finishes. Many manufacturers go with CeraCoat for factory-original finishes such as FDE and Burnt Bronze. Search the Gunsmithing forum for CeraCoat applicators in Canada. Not sure you'd want to tackle this product at home...
