Mine was $65 too but I called her, and as drunk dilligaf said, she (betty) told me you can order on line and she will also take the extra billing off because it is not a firearm part but an accessory, and yes 3 or more gets you a buck a piece off! So she will get you down to the same price as mine, nice lady!

You would be better off with a mosin sling. This way you can run the leather collar thru the hole.

I have a spare mosin sling here you can have. Just pay shipping...

Russians used mosin slings on SVTs during the war, lots of pics out there proving it

Mosin slings fit like crap and look like crap on an SVT

You could use a VZ58 sling which almost looks like the pre war SVT slings

i have a few vz58 cotton feeling slings like that one. how can you tell its not for a vz58?

the vz58 was first made in 1958. was that the last year they made them with cotton?

I just got mine delivered and I put it on right away. Not really happy with it- found it too short to be able to carry the rifle on a shoulder. And there is no way it will go across the back especially if you are wearing winter clothes.... But it looks better than the one I had from crapy tire...

I just ordered 4, total less then $40 delivered, so, military canvas/leather good to very good slings for less than $10 each, I couldn't find one that cheap at Army Navy or Wally world, might not be exactly correct but at least Soviet Eastern block! Got a couple extra in case a friend wants one!!

Me too. Four slings. I'm happy with the price and quality. Much better than what I had, which was nothing.
