Where can I get bear skin?

That looks like a momma bear and 3 cubs...

That is legal in Alaska where you are allowed to shoot cubs.

Not sure where the pics are from. Other provinces may allow cub shooitng.

Anyway, there is one small momma and 3 real small cubs in that pic.:)

LOL...ummmm....no (That's a big barge :) ).

All males, largest being 365, smallest at 150ish. We don't get big bears up in the islands, in fact: the largest bear taken by our group in 20 years just broke 450......not a lot of food grows on the granite. I have to say though, the cranberry and blueberry fed bears up here taste better than the finest prime rib. :D

On a side note, every bear we shot this year (7 all told) were male...and all but two were in the 150-200 range.

No females, and we havent even seen a cub.....and thats a first. Tons of bears (more than we've ever seen), but all the same. I'm hearing similar reports from all over ON., an no one can figure out why.

Kinda makes me wonder what will happen for next years hunt.

I may be able to find you a bear hide... not a rug and no mounted head attached.
If you are interested, let me know. A friend offered one to me a few years ago, I was going to take it but turns out it wasn't free! oh well. He didn't want much for it.
