Well I have done some more browsing and updated my original post. There are 2 versions of the FRT... you know to add more ambiguity and confusion to an already stressful situation.

As of this post I myself have not seen a live Verifier version (grey theme) of the MS FRT that has classified it as prohib. If anyone has, please post the link/source.

UPDATE: Further explanation from Calibre Mag and reddit has now clarified that there are 2 versions of the FRT. Blue bars which can be accessed by businesses such as the one below updated approximately every week OR grey bars in the theme which are for verifiers (not as many around) that is live.
 
We don't have any further information. The latest updated information I have is from a few hours ago and the Modern Hunter, and Modern Varmint were changed to prohibited, however the Modern Sporter was not.

This is a change that is not reflected in the OIC, and appears to be an arbitrary change made by the RCMP in contravention to their own firearms inspection report.

We are not rushing any decisions, changing plans or shifting strategy right now, we are going to assess what little information we have over the weekend and will post an update Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning.

Rumor has it that the RCMP are going through and changing documents and reports to support their actoins.... We have the signed in ink scan of the inspection report that we are inquiring about hosting for download. Never fails they pull this #### on a Friday...

Another "rumor" but this one with enough meat and bones that I'll put this warning out there: there are multiple 'stings' taking place regarding checking PAL's on purchases from individual to individual, and one screen shot of a police officer attempting to sell a prohibited firearm to a normally legal law abiding buyer.

USE caution if you are buying ANYTHING right now people. Looks like the RCMP and Toronto Police Service took summer school lessons down south with the B.A.T.F.E. on sleazy tactics.
 
We just found out how bat#### crazy this really is. They don’t care if it’s an AR-15 or a real variant, they’re simply banning any rifle that looks like one. The RCMP specifically stated that the SLR is not an AR-15 variant, and yet they just banned it. They’ve been updating the list every single day, it’s only a matter of time before every rifle that looks like an AR-15 gets prohibited. The liberals are evil, slimy, creatures who must be stopped.

Some folks on Reddit are saying the modern sporter is also banned. It still shows non-restricted on the regular site, but it’s prohibited on the verifier site. Is this true?
 
Make sure when the time comes to turn in our Restricted "on radar" rifles they're stripped down to a bare receiver and cast into a bucket or better yet barrel of cement with a porthole to see the numbers. Write F*** Trudeau into the cement. Make a statement.

Does he have a Facebook page, other social media? If not, and assuming the constituency office is open, I would call and write his constituency office daily (...always professional and polite); round up others (range, community), and ask them to join in.
Contact the media and pitch the story of an MP who is using the covid lockdown to avoid communicating with constituents about contentious (unpopular) issues - an erosion of our fragile democracy.

Good on you guys. Hang in there. When you start your legal defense fund I'm in. Lord knows I won't be buying any ammo for a while.

There is nothing "civil" about any of this. They are demonstrating their disdain for guns and outright contempt for gun owners by behaving this way. And this hostile behaviour will be addressed before the SCC.
