That's a nice looking Bob Baumgart Super X-One. He was quite the proponent of the SX-1 and well respected for his workmanship. Does your's have his intials stamped on the trigger assy?
Last time I checked with WGP their buffers cost $36 plus $15 shipping.
I have only one Remington Wingmaster, it was my Dad's. He was a fan of Remington shotguns.
Your guns are beautiful. I don't think any one used nicer wood on factory models than winchester back in the day
No stamp on that trigger but I know what you are talking about since dad sent some work down in his later years. That gun like you was my dad's.
He being a yank and a gun shop owner and active trap shooter state side met Bob somehow and did some business with him but me only 2 times. His young SX friend Boomer I can hear him say
I don't think he stamped all stage 3 triggers only stage ones he modified to stage 3 but could be wrong
I still have a small bag of original winchester parts from the shop for the x1 that I hold onto like gold. One would think the original buffers would be all dried out and split but they are fine. Maybe stored in the dark made a difference
Take care
Joe
