Where to buy 30 Cal gas checks?

I found some on Amazon but they’re in the US and duty and shipping brings the price up to almost $90. Anyone see them for sale in Canada? I prefer Hornady.

I have a tool to make my own for 45 cal but never got a 30 cal.

I just bought 2000 from Dragonlube a couple weeks ago. Had them within a week of ordering. Be prepared for sticker shock if you haven't purchased anything lately. Good service though.

About three years ago, I had a dealer add an order for a bunch of 8mm gas checks to his Hornady stock order. He said they didn't list them, but gave it a whirl. I now have enough to last me as long as I will be shooting!

i purchased a 30 cal check maker some years ago and it is the best investment I made. a roll of 0.145 aluminum goes a long ways to supply me and keep me reloading my cast bullets. an 8mm maker is handy also, I will have to buy one in the future.

I use .014 “amerimax” flashing found on Amazon or Walmart.ca. For .30cal and .44. The stuff we can get up here in our stores seems to be around .012 and works for .22 and .35. All depends on GC shank diameter of dropped bullet, some .30 are fine with the .012. Some people sandwich a layer of beer or pop can material with the .012 when they make them to get desired thickness.

As above Amerimax or Canadian version Euramax. Contractor desk at Lowes ordered it in for me

I tried to order through lowes and they were clueless so i contacted Euromax directly out of Barrie and they got me two rolls but that was a one time deal as they dont sell directly to the general public.
