1) Bullpup Rifles are not prohibited. So no one liner post like "bullpup = prohib" Go with the collective intelligence of CGN
"2. Any rifle, shotgun or carbine stock of the type known as the “bull-pup” design, being a stock that, when combined with a firearm, reduces the overall length of the firearm such that a substantial part of the reloading action or the magazine-well is located behind the trigger of the firearm when it is held in the normal firing position."

Hmm...so that would make it similar to the rifles and shotguns that have sub-18 inch barrels or are shorter than 26 inches overall, where it's legal to buy it as-is from the manufacture?
chanman said:Interesting. So if the factory making the civilian arms were to be bought/sold/transferred to another company or spun off as say, China Arms, would the ban still apply?
Oh, the Norinco homepage http://www.norinco.com appears to be a lot better done, and has the bullpup, but no mention of civilian sales?
Also, is someone could point to a thread with the bullpup explanation, that'd be much appreciated.
