Despite what the company would have you believe, this is a false statement, as proven over and over again on various US Glock and AR sites I ran across following my issues with the Gen3 mags failing in a Gen4 slide. This issue is possibly due to tolerances but are well known.
The feed lips are higher on the Gen3 mags and thus failure to cycle occurs due to interference, so you can try shaving them down with various mods, or get the Gen4 mags which are, without any doubt, very different in very small but important ways.
You can PM me and I can provide you with links to several of these threads of people having issues and a couple very helpful ones that have detailed pictures of mods for the Gen3 mags, but personally I couldn't be bothered. I did however polish my feed ramp and give my extractor a new angle which fixed all kinds of ejection issues I had even with the proper Gen4 mags.
Luckily I just found a cgn member selling brand new gen4 mags through a want ad I posted on the EE, and just bought 2 from him tonight. PM me if any of you are looking close to the date of this post and I will forward you his name as he does allegedly have additional Gen4 mags available.
I'm glad you found the mags you were looking for. I'd possibly be interested in more mags so I might just PM you.
At some point I'm going to do a closer comparison of the mag I got with my AA kit and the two I bought at CSC. Maybe I'll even pull out my Nikon SLR and take good side by side comparison photos. All I know for sure is that ALL the AA mags I happen to have work flawlessly with CCI Mini-Mags and Federal bulk ammo on my one year old G17 Gen 4 frame. I've never had a failure that wasn't either ammo-related or because a good cleaning was overdue.
Sometimes ignorance really is bliss.
